Art Diary or Journaling Is Anything You Want It to Be

An art Journal or Diary can be anything you want it to be.
There are no rules or regulations.  That is what is so fun about it.

I started with a mixed media journal from Michael's .  It has firmer pages and I thought this would hold up better for what I wanted to do.

I mixed stickers, acrylic paint, art tape, my own photo flower, some stencils for lettering and some ModPodge glue.

Maybe I am not a super artist, but I do love the bright colors.



I think I would mostly like to use my own beach photography in my Journal.

Pink Cascades

I have decided to start art journaling. First many of my own photos are utilized.  I don't consider myself to be a professional photographer.  But, my photos are a part of my artistic expression.

Maybe you can gather some ideas from my photos, painting, color schemes and the like.                                                                                                                                                                                                   Can't wait to scan in the first page of my journal.  My journal is my own little world.  It is like having a magazine that belongs just to me.
